In Rosie's formal name, we wanted to honor Sunnie. Since Rosie arrived toward the end of Sunnie's breeding career, we decided on Miracle's Sunset Celebration, after the beautiful Sunset Celebration rose (pictured above). Alas, due to my error, she is registered as Miracle's Sunrise Celebration. Oh, well; a rose by any other name...
Rosie has
matured into a beautiful girl!
She is a melding of Papa Denver's tall, athletic build, and Mama Sunnie's gentle
nature. She has a lovely head, and very nice movement.
In July 2007, Rosie's first litter ~ 5 males/3 females, sired by GSD
Levi ~ arrived!
They are registered with the Shiloh Shepherd Breed Association (SSBA)
Registry as 1st Generation Shiloh Shepherd outcrosses.
With a great deal of excitement, we selected a fabulous Trinka~Shep boy named
Angel to sire Rosie's second litter.
[The "Trinka~Shep" lines
have made an indelible mark an the Shiloh Shepherd breed.] Rosie
rang in the New Year by going into season; she was bred ~ via the
surgical insemination of frozen semen ~ in mid-January.
A February
ultrasound confirmed pregnancy; on
Sunday, March 16th, FIVE baby girls
